EVR Consulting offers a range of services tailored to clients and their specific needs. This includes:

  • Management of the ICT elements of builds during pre-construction and construction phases through to sign-off and handover including:

    • Participation in the design team, and liaison with the client and end users, to provide guidance on ICT in building designs

    • Writing the ICT sections of PITTs, ITTs and Contractor’s Proposals / DEIRs including fully OS-compliant solution design

    • Managing the ICT small power and data elements of design in conjunction with M&E

    • Managing the ICT elements of the construction phase

  • Providing advice on how to achieve Passivhaus and Net Zero Carbon whist providing a future-proofed, usable ICT solution that meets all the client’s functional requirements

  • Providing active infrastructure, classroom and hall AV, PCs/laptops/Macs, decant, installation, testing and project management services to those construction companies delivering SRP/CTF schemes

  • Assisting construction companies who wish to gain a better understanding of DfE or CCS ICT processes and practices both on individual schemes and at framework level

Technical Authority services for Local Authorities

  • Acting as the Technical ICT Authority to provide the services normally undertaken by a DfE ICT Advisor.  This includes:

    • Writing project specific Output Specifications and Responsibility Matrices

    • Advising on funding and creating funding models for ICT

    • Attending Client Engagement Meetings on behalf of the Local Authority to ensure construction companies comply with the issued specification

    • Evaluating draft and full CPs for compliance

    • Managing the delivery of the ICT elements in the construction stage

  • The experience gained in the education sector has been transferred to both the Commercial and Health sectors in recent years.

    • Strategy development

    • Acting as the ICT authority on the design team
